TO PLANT A GARDEN…

Beth Shalom’s garden, located behind the Synagogue’s parking lot, is proving a bounty of tikkun olam for our congregation. Established and tended by John Carlson, with help from the Brotherhood and other volunteers, produce from the garden is currently donated to the Baton Rouge Food Bank.

In January, we delivered Mustard greens, swiss chard, red leaf lettuce, green onions, rosemary, dill, tarragon, parsley, oregano, sage, caraway to the food bank.
